In 1976, Steven, along with his brother, Fred M. Klatsky, began practicing law with their father, William Klatsky, and their elder brother, Alan M. Klatsky. Steven has focused on estate planning and estate administration throughout his entire career. A lecturer on estate planning, Steven has been a member of the Estate Planning Council of Central New Jersey, a member of the Monmouth County Bar Association's Probate Section and the New Jersey State Bar Association's Taxation Section. For more than four decades, Steven has been preparing wills, trusts, powers of attorney and living wills and has been administrating estates. As managing partner, Steven also oversees the daily operations of the firm.
