As a result of scoring in the top 5% of the National Multistate Bar Examination, Fred was honored by being exempt from taking the New Jersey Bar Exam. In 1976, Fred, along with his brother, Steven B. Klatsky, began practicing law with their father, William Klatsky, and their elder brother, Alan M. Klatsky. Fred focused on civil litigation.  Early in his career, the Supreme Court of New Jersey designated Fred as a Certified Civil Trial Attorney and Fred held this designation for many years. Fred has been the firm's principal civil litigation attorney for over four decades and has successfully tried numerous jury trials. He is known as a quick-thinking, aggressive lawyer who loves the challenge of the contest. Fred has lectured other attorneys on matters relevant to civil litigation over the course of his career.  Also, Fred served as a Municipal Court Judge in the Borough of West Long Branch from 1980 to 1982. He was elected to the Holmdel Board of Education from 1985 to 1988 and served as President of the Board from 1987 to 1988. Fred is a former member of the West Long Branch Planning Board. Additionally, he has served as a panelist on the Monmouth County Early Settlement Panel and as a faculty member for the New Jersey Plaintiff's Trial Academy. Further, Fred was formerly a member of the New Jersey Mortgage Bankers' Committee on Foreclosures.
