After graduating from law school, Alan began his legal career clerking for Judge Evans and Judge McGowan at the Monmouth County Courthouse, in Freehold, New Jersey. In 1970, Alan started practicing law with his father, William Klatsky, and soon focused his practice on real estate law. Alan has over five decades of experience representing buyers and sellers in residential real estate closings. Also, Alan served as a Municipal Court Judge in Eatontown, New Jersey from 1975 to 1980 and in Tinton Falls, New Jersey from 1979 to 1985. During his tenure as a Municipal Court Judge, Alan was appointed as President of the Monmouth County Municipal Judge's Association. In 1989, he was the Zoning Board Attorney for the Borough of Red Bank. Additionally, Alan was formerly a lecturer for the Mortgage Bankers Committee of the Monmouth County Bar Association.
